Kai Gerber has revealed she was thankful that her home had nude modeling pictures of her mother scattered around the house.
Model Kaia Gerber has reflected on her childhood and insisted it was perfectly normal despite questions that it might have been different due to her super model mother, Cindy Crawford.
Speaking to Harpers Bazaar the 24-year-old did admit that her upbringing was ‘pretty isolated’ but in a great way.
She said things were as normal as they could have been, all things considered. She noted 'I always went to public school. I did theater. I did every community play. I was in choir. I did singing recitals. I danced.'

Sounds pretty normal to me to be honest. The model did go on to be homeschooled when she started her modelling career at 15.
However, she did address something that did make her home considerably different than most, the nude model images of her mother. She explained that there were many on the walls at her home but it wasn’t something that ever bothered her.
She explained: “They were, to me, artistic. It wasn’t vulgar, it wasn’t objectification.
She even went as far as to say that it was a ‘gift’ to grow up in a home that didn’t view the female form with shame.
Crawford has previously spoken to Fox Digital and explained the simple advice she would give to her children.

Speaking to the outlet at the second annual WWD Style Awards, she said: “The best advice I can give both my kids, whether they’re modeling or another job, is be on time.”
She also spoke about remaining confident as a model and how she deals with possible anxiety around it.
She said: “Oh jeez, I think a lot of it’s just faking it, honestly, but I think if you are happy in your life, if you’re doing work that you love, if you have a purpose, and then, at a certain point, like, someone asked me, ‘How do you get the confidence to walk down the red carpet?
“And sometimes you don’t, but once you walk out the door, you make the decision. So, you just have to go with it.
“And I think the fact that I’ve lived here so long and I’m really part of this community now, like, I’m running into a lot of old friends and that makes it fun as well.”
