The 'Sorry' singer made the comments during a recent Twitch livestream

Justin Bieber has sparked a debate after discussing 'lust' for other women in a recent livestream.

The 'Baby' singer made his Twitch debut on Wednesday (October 22) and promised to go live for his millions fans on a regular basis.

"This is our space for the next few months, so excited,” Bieber said, as per Billboard. "I’m gonna be putting on a hell of a show for you guys at Coachella. I can’t wait. So, getting ready, getting the gang together, get inspired. So Beautiful."

In the opening livestream, the musician provided a tour of his impressive studio, with the broadcast seeing Bieber and his crew play basketball, pool and skateboarded, amongst other activities.

“You guys are killing it back here,” Bieber told his team situated in what appeared to a warehouse. "Just giving them a sneak of what’s really going on back here. This is where the real magic happens. Thank you guys for everything.”

In a more recent broadcast, the 'Love Yourself' hitmaker touched on his Christian faith by discussing 'lust' for other women.

"If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it," the 31-year-old said. "Committing adultery, or whatever. It’s like the same thing. If it even crosses your mind for one second. If you treat a man with anger or something, it’s the same as killing a man."

Bieber's thoughts actually quote the Bible, which states: "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

The singer has spoken openly in the past about his faith, including a spiritual reflection shared with his followers over the Christmas period last year.

"How can I really believe Jesus is with me?" Bieber asked in a festive Instagram Stories post.

Answering that himself, Bieber penned: "Well for me, Justin, it’s simply His goodness that keeps convincing me. Every time I thought He wouldn’t show up for me, He always has. I’m convinced He’s the perfect, patient presence that guides, directs, and leads me all the days of my life — providing, healing, and restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal."

He then concluded the message with: "I do believe."

Despite only being on Twitch for a matter of days, Bieber has accumulated an impressive 160,000 followers to date as he shares a unique look into his life.
