JoJo Siwa discusses truth behind her sexuality after announcing she's 'no longer a lesbian' in Big Brother house

JoJo Siwa has spoken further about her journey of coming out and her sexuality, as she confessed she felt 'boxed in' amid confirming her relationship with Chris Hughes.
The 22-year-old singer revealed she has started dating fellow Celebrity Big Brother UK co-star Hughes after meeting in the Big Brother house back in April.
While appearing on the show, the Dance Moms star was chatting to Danny Beard - who won season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK - when she said that she doesn't really see herself as lesbian.
Chatting to Beard, Siwa confessed: "I feel so queer."

Beard then said that they also identify as queer, sparking Siwa to open up to the Drag Race star further.
"I think I've always told myself I'm a lesbian," she said. "I think being here, I've realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer. And I think that's really cool - I'm switching letters! I've dropped the L and I've gone to the Q, baby! That's what I love about sexuality."
At the time, Siwa - who identifies as non-binary and uses all pronouns - was dating Kath Ebbs, with the pair having gone public with their relationship earlier in the year.
Now, speaking to the Daily Mail, she delved further into the conversation about her sexuality as she explained how she felt pressured into coming out.
“When I came out at 17, I said: ‘I’m pansexual, because I don’t care',” Siwa said. “But then I kind of boxed myself in and I said: ‘I’m a lesbian'. And I think I did that because of pressure.”
That 'pressure', she explained, came from her peers in the LGBTQ+ community.
Siwa continued: "In a weird way, I think it came a little bit from inside the [LGBTQ+] community at times. From people I know, from partners I’ve had.
"You just get put in this world where you feel like, because you now have said, 'Oh, I’m a lesbian', you have to be a lesbian. And the truth is, sexuality is fluid."
It comes after Siwa and Hughes announced that they were dating - something fans of Celebrity Big Brother had speculated over for months prior to it happening, with the pair cosying up to each other on the show.
As of earlier this month, the couple are no longer holding back their affection, with Hughes taking to Snapchat to post a bedroom pic of the pair cuddled up together while he planted a kiss on her forehead.
The 32-year-old captioned the pic: "Sleepinnn beauty."
