John Stamos has finally put the rumors to bed on how he feels for his former Full House co-star, Lori Loughlin.
The Daytime Emmy Award winner is most commonly known for bringing Uncle Jesse Katsopolis to life in the iconic ABC sitcom between the late 1980s to mid-1990s.
Stamos then reprised the role in the follow-up Netflix series, Fuller House, for a further five seasons between 2016 and 2020 alongside his on-screen wife, Loughlin, aka Aunt Becky.
Fans have since been left wondering for decades if their on-screen chemistry ever spilt over into real life when the cameras stopped rolling.

Now, the 62-year-old has come clean about the situation on the Good Guys podcast.

While gushing about his long-term buddy, Stamos set the record straight, stating that the pair never shared a romantic spark, but might have kissed once.
“A lot of people think, ‘Oh, you guys were romantic,’ or whatever,” Stamos said before confessing he had added fuel to the fire when he said the now 61-year-old was the 'one that got away.'

“You know, I happened to say she was the one that got away in something - I think it was before I met [wife] Caitlin [McHugh] - and, you know, it was an interesting thing.
"I wrote about in the book, there was a very small window of the two of us being single at the same time," he said in reference to his 2023 memoir, If You Would Have Told Me: A Memoir.
Stamos went on to compare Loughlin to Sandy from the iconic movie Grease, but 'before the leather' while his ex-wife Rebecca Romijn was likewise like the character, but 'after the leather and the 'Tell me about it, stud'.''

Though this perhaps doesn't sound so complimentary, the ER star said 'rebellious' women were more his type.
“Lori was so sweet, and I loved working with her, but she was too nice for me," he confessed.
When podcast hosts Ben Soffer and Josh Peck pressed him further on whether he would ever consider leaving his wife, whom he tied the knot with in 2018, for Loughlin, he didn't mince his words.
"No f***ing way!", he exclaimed. "I’m not Mormon. Do you do that with your wife? Are you a swinger?”

However, Stamos revealed he did once share a steamy moment with his co-star, or at least he thought he did, despite it being 'always platonic.'

"I always thought that we made out on some ride at Disneyland - I've known her since the early '80s. I remembered, I think she said it didn't happen.
"So, I don't know if it was something I made up in my mind. You know, some kind of fantasy.”

The insight comes as Loughlin has reportedly separated from fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli after almost 28 years of marriage.
Although the famous pair are yet to file for divorce, Stamos revealed that he and Caitlin have been a shoulder for Loughlin to cry on.
“She lives in my neighborhood, Lori, and so, you know, I was over there a lot and she came to our house a couple times and Caitlin’s been good about it," he said.
“I'm just heartbroken for her right now. She’s just devastated," he continued.

When contacted by PEOPLE, Giannulli said he had 'zero comments' on the matter.
