Jennifer Lopez has perfect response as she hits back at people criticizing how she dresses

Jennifer Lopez has been praised for her perfect response to her critics while on stage during a recent concert.

Lopez has been around the musical block for quite some time and made quite the name for herself.

The singer has been touring and releasing albums for decades while still finding time to raise a family and star in the odd film here and there.

But her fans are very much aware of the criticism she has received over the years and JLo herself has now addressed it.

While onstage for her Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 30, Lopez stopped the show to ridicule her critics.

According to a video shared on X, she said: “I do laugh at some of the things because they do say funny things too.

“One of the things that [they say is] ‘Why is it when she takes pictures she smiles with her mouth open, why does she always do that?’”

JLo then mockingly struck a pose while doing this, which delighted the crowd as they burst out in laughter.

She continued to say: “[They say] ‘Why does she take pictures like that, why does she always dress that way, why doesn’t she dress her age?’

“I’m like ‘Huh’, ‘Why is she always naked?’, I said, ‘If you had this booty, you’d be naked too’.”

Much of the audience erupted in cheers of support for the star, with one fan heard telling her ‘JLo, you be you, we love you’.

On social media, the singer’s fans also defended her, with many commenting on the 56-year-old's impressive physique.

One wrote: “I don’t understand why the sudden criticism against her style, lmao it’s her body, her choice, and yall just bored and jealous haha.”

Another added: “Fair play to her! If we all had a body like that, I'd reckon half the town would be ditching their jumpers for a bit of sunshine, wouldn’t we?”

A third commented: “J. Lo, doesn't wanna slow down. The glow is still up though.”

Someone else said: “Jennifer Lopez said confidence isn’t optional — it’s mandatory. When you look like that, the dress code answers itself.”

Meanwhile, a fifth person simply penned: “Anybody that says she didn’t eat that is just a hater.”

Well, regardless of how you feel about the star, it seems it doesn’t bother JLo all that much.
