Incredibly, after being color blind prior to his weight loss, Jelly Roll began to 'see clear colors' as he dropped the weight.

"I was color blind," Jelly Roll began. "I seen shades of colour, general concepts, but like hunter green, emerald green, green's green to me... nine months into no sugar, I think I forgot what it was but it was a plant at our house.
"And I come outside and grab my wife and I go 'dude, how long have we had that pretty purple tulip there?' or whatever it was.
"And she goes, 'what?' I was like, 'that is the prettiest purple plant I've ever seen'.
"She was like, 'you've walked by that plant for two years what are you talking about?'

"I was like, there's no way we've had a plant that pretty I didn't notice it for two years."
Jelly Roll explained that over the next few months, he started to realise that he was able to see clear color - so much so that he bought heaps of coloring sets and coloring books.
"... It must have been the sugar," he added.
During the chat, Jelly Roll also spoke about his sex life with his wife, Bunnie Xo, admitting it wasn’t in the best place when he was bigger and struggling with his addictions.

Speaking on the 2424 episode of the podcast, he said: “I realized in how much my addiction had been hurting this family. How much my sex life with my wife was horrible. Dude I married a f**king big tiddy blonde beautiful woman, dawg.
“I married the kind of woman that makes you smile when you cry, Joe.
“I couldn’t even get aroused I was so big. I was having to play Twister to have sex, left foot here, right foot on the edge, ‘are we in there yet, tell me if you feel something’, it was bad.”
