Halle Berry's ex has come under fire for sharing why he decided to leave the Catwoman actress.
Berry's first marriage was in 1993 to baseball player David Justice. They were together for three years before Justice called time on their relationship, and they proceeded to finalise their divorce in 1997.
Now, over 30 years from tying the knot to the Oscar-winning star, Justice has shared why he ended their marriage.
"We never had any major issues like that, it's just that I, because I was young, and had only honestly been in one real relationship before her - my knowledge and my understanding and my wisdom around relationships just wasn't vast," he said on the All The Smoke podcast.

He continued to say what he believed at the time a wife should be able to do: cook, clean, and be a mother.
Justice went on to recall: "Then I'm thinking, ok, if we have kids, you know, is this the woman I want to have kids with and build up a family with?
"And at that time as a young guy, she don't cook, don't clean, don't really seem like motherly, and then we start having issues."
It's safe to say that Justice's remarks have divided the internet, with some critics accusing him of 'shaming' his ex.
Here's a look back on the celebrity couple's relationship...
Berry attended a charity baseball game in 1992 where Justice was participating. Allegedly, a reporter told Berry that Justice was interested in her, and the Union actress slipped them her number to pass on to the sports star.
They went on to date for a few months before they decided to get engaged.
According to Justice, it was actually his Hollywood star girlfriend who popped the question to him, and they went on to marry on New Year's Day 1993.
Discussing their engagement, Justice said on All The Smoke podcast: "She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months.
"I said OK, because I couldn’t say no. But I don’t know if my heart was really into it, but I didn’t want to make her feel bad and say no, you know. I was just in the moment."
Justice left Berry in February 1996, and things between the celebrity pair turned progressively more sour.
The actress proceeded to file a restraining order against her then-estranged husband, says The Root, out of fear for her 'personal safety and well-being'. Justice always denied being a threat to Berry, however.
Their divorce was finalised in June 1997.
In the years that followed her divorce, Berry started dating Eric Benét.
They were married in 2001, and Benét was present at Berry's history-making Oscars moment in 2002 when she became the first Black woman to win Best Actress.
Following her win, the pair fell on hard times amid reports Benét had been unfaithful, and he went on to seek help for a sex addiction. They separated in 2003 and legally ended their marriage two years later.
Berry then waited a long time before walking down the aisle again and tied the knot to French actor Olivier Martinez in 2013. The pair welcomed a son the same year they wed.
Sadly, their marriage was also short-lived and they divorced in 2016.
As well as sharing a child with Martinez, Berry has a 17-year-old daughter with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
