The claimed 'secret' daughter of legendary Queen singer Freddie Mercury has sadly passed away aged just 48 after a difficult battle with a rare cancer.
Her identity was partially unveiled in a jaw-dropping biography last year, which revealed that the iconic British musician allegedly had a child that no one had heard of in the 35 years since his death. She was only known by the initial 'B'.
A statement issued by her widower Thomas to the Daily Mail said that she had passed away 'peacefully after a long battle with chordoma, a rare spinal cancer, leaving two sons aged nine and seven'.
It concluded by saying: "B is now with her beloved and loving father in the world of thoughts. Her ashes were scattered to the wind over the Alps."

The identity of 'B' shocked Queen fans around the world when biographer Lesley Ann Jones revealed the woman's claim to being the Bohemian Rhapsody singer's daughter in her 2025 book Love, Freddie.
B told the author that she had been raised by another family but was often visited by her rockstar dad in the years before his tragic death in 1991, aged 45. She has also claimed to have taken DNA tests to confirm his paternity.
Little is known about this mysterious love child, but it is claimed that she lived in France and worked as a doctor later in life. But the Mail has now also claimed that the singer used pet names with her, including 'little froggie' and 'trésor'.

Although many now know Mercury as a gay man,he also dated women on occasion, including Mary Austin. One of these relationships 'with a married woman' is alleged to have resulted in 'B', who the star is claimed to have called 'Bibi'.
According to Mail reporting, all of the band members of Queen knew about the frontman's hidden child, but decided to keep the secret to protect her identity. However, Mercury's close friend and former girlfriend, Austin, told The Times it would be 'astonishing' if B was his daughter.

Biographer Lesley Ann Jones told the publication in an emotional statement after B's death at home in France: "I am devastated by the loss of this woman who became my close friend, who had come to me with a selfless aim: to brush aside all those who have had free rein with Freddie's story for 32 years, to challenge their lies and their rewriting of his life, and to deliver the truth.

"At the end of her life, it was all that mattered to her. She was very ill throughout the four years that we worked together. But she was on a mission. She put herself and her own needs last."
Apparently, B had lived with this spinal cancer since childhood, causing her family to move around a lot to access the proper treatment. Yet alleged dad Mercury was never far from her mind, with the child claiming to follow his world tours on a globe that the star had given to her on one of his visits.
Ahead of Jones' book's publication, B shared a statement detailing what it had been like to see her father supposedly misrepresented: "After his death, I had to learn to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations of him, and with the feeling that my Dad now belonged to everyone.
"I cried and mourned my Dad, while fans all around the world mourned Freddie. When you are 15 years old, it's not easy. I had to become an adult without him, and live all the structuring moments and events without his support."
