Eminem's daughter Alaina has opened up about her first few months of married life, joking she sometimes wants to 'punch' her husband in the face.

Whether you've made it down the aisle or not, it doesn't change the fact that our partners can annoy the hell out of us at times and just because Alaina is the daughter of rap legend Eminem, doesn't make her experiences of married life any less relatable.

Alaina joined Hailie Jade on her podcast A Little Shady to 'start the spooky season off catching up on all things pop culture and life,' including how her and new husband Matt Moeller have been doing.

Alaina was previously Eminem's niece, but was adopted by the rapper in the early 2000s after her mother - sister of Kimberly Scott - Dawn, was unable to look after her.

On 9 June, 2023, Alaina tied the knot with Moeller in Detroit and sister Hailie Jade Scott was her bridesmaid.

She posted a series of photographs of the happy day to Instagram, alongside the caption: "June 9, 2023 simply one of the best days of my life.

"In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours."

However, how has married life for the couple been going nearly four months on?

Well, on her podcast, Hailie changed the topic of Taylor Swift's love life to the topic of divorce, causing her, co-host Brittany Ednie and Alaina to erupt into giggles.

In a video of episode nine of the podcast posted to YouTube, Hailie questions her sister: "We can talk a little snippet about, just briefly, how is married life?"

"How did you go from divorced to married life to that?" Alaina questions.

The newly wed then continues: "Obviously not much has changed because we were already living together, we already have dogs together, we've... It's been the same thing basically.

"Essentially, I think in a nutshell, marriage is like loving your partner more than you ever have but then also like wanting to punch them in the face."

Sometimes it be like that.

The co-hosts chime in in agreement, noting 'that can happen'. And Alaina adds: "I love him, don't like him some days."

Alaina even notes the feeling was similar between her and Hailie when they were growing up together.

"I love you, but I wanted to strangle you a lot of the time," she continues.

Hailie adds: "Yeah, that's how it goes."

Ultimately, Alaina thinks it's 'pretty natural' to feel this way about a partner or someone you share a lot of your life with.

She says: "Some people they may think that that's alarming, but I feel like you live with somebody, you do stuff with them all the time, you know, you don't put the dishes where I want them. Even living together, everybody still has their own way of doing stuff.

"I do think it's important to have like your own time, your own hobbies and your own stuff. And that's what makes it so you really don't kill each other. Having that balance. But it's been good."
