Hailie Jade took to her podcast to address the rumours she had split from her fiancé
Hailie Jade has responded to rumours she’s splitting up with her fiancé, Evan McClintock.
The 27-year-old is the influencer daughter of rapper Eminem and Kimberly Anne Scott.
The inspiration behind much of the songwriter’s music, Hailie announced her engagement to businessman, Evan McClintock, in February this year.
But recently, rumours have been spinning the pair have split.

Page Six reported the pair apparently kept their distance from one another on a recent night out in Chicago.
So, Hailie had her say on the matter on her podcast, Just a Little Shady, with friend and co-host, Brittany Ednie.
She revealed the rumours were ‘news to me’ as she said: “Apparently me and Evan are splitting up. It's crazy what the news can do. Do you know what though? I think it’s so funny to have something like that written about you.”
A headline shows up on the screen which reads: “Eminem’s daughter Hailie jade, fiancé keep their distance during Lollapalooza: eyewitness.”
And Brittany adds the whole situation has been ‘taken out of context’ as Hailie says it was ‘totally spun into a story’.
Hailie explains to her listeners: “Basically, I don’t know if any of you guys have seen, but we literally had people being like, ‘Are you guys ok?’
“Sorry we weren’t tonguing eachother at the club. Sorry, I don’t know what people want.”
The social media star says the articles reported her and Evan were splitting up because ‘we were not by eachother and we were with our ‘respective friends’ at the club’.
Brittany even gave a sarcastic gasp as Hailie admitted ‘some of the stuff’ written was true.
She explained the two podcast hosts were ‘so exhausted’ but pulled through for a night out as their friends all wanted to go out.
“So we went, and we were there. Physically we were there, mentally we were halfway there,” Hailie says.
“If you looked at us from the outside, we probably didn’t look there. So supposedly this article gets written that we’re splitting up.
“I guess I get it, but what do the people want – us making out?”
But Brittany backs her up to say PDA isn’t really there thing: “You two are very private people when it comes to PDA.”
So the rappers’ daughter and her man aren’t splitting it up it seems, she’s simply just not one for PDA because: “I have nothing to prove.”
The pair have been dating since 2016, and are quite private about their romance on social media, with Evan rarely appearing on Hailie’s Instagram.
