Doja Cat took us on the edge of a wardrobe malfunction in her bold red carpet look at the MTV VMAs.

The ‘Paint the Town Red’ singer rocked up to tonight’s (13 September) Video Music Awards ceremony in New Jersey looking like a walking spider’s web.

And let’s just say there could be high chance of a nip slip.

Doja Cat wore a hand-knitted MONSE spider web gown. According to the fashion house, it is inspired by the iconic ‘Maman’ spider sculpture by artist Louise Bourgeois.

The star is showing a lot of skin for her fans as the thin, white web barely covers her body and trails stylishly behind her.

Doja Cat is nominated for five awards at this year’s ceremony, including the coveted Best Artist and Best Video.

Reacting on X, users wrote: “THE WOMAN YOU ARE.”

Others said she ‘looks so goooood’ and ‘is flawless’.

Another put: “All tangled up in Doja Cat’s web of a look.”

It was also reported the star’s ‘alter ego’ Scarlet had arrived at the VMAs with a pretty creepy ‘statue’ of a red shiny body with wide eyes and wet hair popping up outside.

Oh, and to complete her web look, Doja Cat rocked a huge spider earring, crawling on her ear.

One user commented on her Insatgram post: “Never wished I was a spider more than rn.”

And another said: “Doja you’re always gonna be that girl like I’m gagged.”

Doja Cat is set to perform at the ceremony tonight, and we have no doubts that the star will wow us with both her outfit and the show she puts on.
