Doja Cat responds to conspiracy theory that she's in the Illuminati

Doja Cat is sick of the Illuminati accusers.

If you're at all familiar with Doja Cat, you'll be aware that she's pretty out there.

Whether it's drastically changing her look (shaving her head, turning her whole body red, wearing a moustache and beard made of false lashes, the list goes on), her posting bizarre TikTok videos, or irreversibly changing her Twitter name to 'fart', most fans love her wonderful weirdness.

But there are some sceptics who are totally convinced that Doja's odd behaviour is an undeniable sign that she's a member of the Illuminati.

And the conspiracy theories are getting on her last nerve.

TikTok fans believe that Doja's 27th birthday party last October was the most obvious sign.

The party theme was inspired by Stanley Kubrick's film Eyes Wide Shut, which tells the story of an 'elite society' supposedly similar to the Illuminati.

Kubrick famously died just six days after showing the final cut of the film to Warner Bros, which has raised major suspicions among conspiracy theorists.

Doja's party included a three-tiered birthday cake with an 'All Seeing Eye' design on it and guests dressed in masks.

Honestly, the whole theory is a little bit out there, so this is definitely one to take with a pinch of salt before you find yourself down a wormhole.

But Doja Cat has seen the rumours online, and she's getting a little fed up with all of the speculation.

Taking to Twitter this week, the 'Kiss Me More' singer wrote: "This Illuminati s**t is so funny to me I'm gonna keep doing deliberate weird ass s**t just to make those people uncomfortable.

"I've fr found a new outlet of joy."

When one fan joked: "Get the Illuminati symbol as a tattoo next," Doja doubled down and replied: "Dude I f**kin will watch me".

One follower, who still wasn't convinced, replied: "You literally had an Eyes Wide Shut theme for your birthday. But okay."

Standing her ground, Doja Cat hit back: "I know cuz that movie rocks and it's the best party theme ever."

Doja Cat's fans are now clashing heads online, debating whether or not she might have joined the infamous secret society.

While some are convinced that her tweet was a 'reverse psychology' tactic to try and throw people off, most people are fighting Doja's corner on this one.

"Society is so boring that Doja Cat has to wear a wig to look sexy for y’all but if she was bald y’all will call her an Illuminati devil worshipping princess," complained one fan.

Another assured her: "Little do they know. You’ve always been this way…. And the ones that get it. Love you so much."
