Demi Moore has shared some rare insight into her previous marriage with Bruce Willis, whom she divorced in 2000.
The celebrity pair reportedly met in July 1987 and wed just a few months later. Fast forward to August 1988, and Moore gave birth to their first child, Rumer, and later welcomed two more daughters with the Die Hard actor.
They officially split in 1998, but their divorce wasn't finalized until two years later, meaning Moore and Willis were legally married for 13 years.
With their three kids in mind, Moore and Willis have remained in each other's lives and appear to have always been on good terms. The Substance star has even defended Willis's now-wife Emma after she was criticized for choosing to live separately from him amid his health struggles.

The family announced the sad news of his diagnosis in February 2023.

When discussing her ex-husband, it's usually family or health-related matters that Moore speaks about, but on Wednesday evening (January 7), she gave some rare insight into their marriage.
During a private screening of Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman's new movie Song Sung Blue, Moore joined a discussion with Hudson. The film is about a couple who starred in a Neil Diamond tribute band.

"This is a little personal thing, but Bruce always had every week, Neil Diamond Day," the Ghost star shared.
The 63-year-old continued to reminisce (via Mail Online): "Watching the movie just kept reminding me of when he would blast Neil Diamond, and I'd say, 'What's going on?'
"He said 'It's Neil Diamond day!' and he played Neil throughout the day. He kept on doing that for years. He was a huge Neil fan. And so am I!"

While Moore and Willis were married for 13 years, he and his second wife, Emma, have recently marked their 18th anniversary as a couple. They started dating in 2007 and got married two years later.
On December 31, Emma penned a moving post to social media as she recalled the day Willis became her boyfriend.
Sharing a throwback photo with her husband, she said: "18 years ago, he became my boyfriend. With one kiss on the top of my head, time stood still. I’m so lucky to know this kind of love."
