Sex and the City Mr Big actor Chris Noth has revealed even more information about his relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker after their feud was rehashed on social media.

“We're not friends, I think that's pretty obvious,” Noth said on the Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson podcast on February 5 when asked whether he keeps in touch with the actress.

Noth appeared in Sex and the City for six years before reprising his role in 2008’s Sex and the City film, and its 2010 sequel.

He returned as Carrie Bradshaw’s husband in And Just Like That... in 2021, where he was unceremoniously killed off in the very first episode.

In the same year, two women came forward to accuse Noth of sexual assault, allegations he denies. This was apparently how his falling out with Sarah Jessica Parker began.

After the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, where SJP accepted her honorary Carol Burnett Award for ‘outstanding contributions to television on or off the screen’, Noth uploaded an image of himself at the gym on Instagram.

He captioned it: “F&@k new years - LETS GO!!!!”

However, one of his followers went on to ask: “You mean f***k SJP & her award right? Lol.”

Noth replied: “Right.”

In his interview with Mayer, Noth revisited how the allegations against him in 2021 ended his friendship with Parker.

The accusations came from two women who alleged Noth assaulted them in 2004 in Los Angeles and 2015 in New York City.

Noth denied the allegations, and released a statement which read: "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago—no always means no—that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual."

However, Parker reportedly cut contact with the actor in light of the claims as she, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, who play Miranda and Charlotte respectively, put out a public statement in support of the women.

The statement said: "We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

In newly released segments of the interview with Robinson, Noth said of Parker, Nixon and Davis' statement: "I think when people heard those three come out that way from that show which so many eyes are on, they said, 'Well then, it must be true.' I think they knew that the media would have a bonanza with it.

"They didn't need to make that statement. Their show wasn't going to get hurt. I hurt my family a lot with this and I'm still worried about it and that didn't help

He compared Parker's statement to Bridget Moynahan's, who played Natasha Naginsky on the show.

When Elle asked for her response on the allegations back in 2021, she responded: "I don’t know anything about…it would be inappropriate for me to comment on things I don’t have any knowledge of."

He told Robinson: "And that's why I said, 'God, the woman who knows me the least, Bridget Moynahan, made the most objective comment.' Which was fair.

"I just can't believe all this has happened."

He went on to add that if ‘it was on the other foot’, he ‘wouldn’t have done that’ to Parker.

He also claimed he wished there had been a ‘criminal trial’ because she said it would have been ‘thrown out’ due to the lack of evidence against him.

UNILAD reached out to a representative of Sarah Jessica Parker for comment.
