A friend of D4vd has spoken out after the rapper has come under investigation following the death of a teenage girl who was found in his vehicle.
In September this year, the decomposed remains of Celeste Rivas Hernandez were found stuffed in the trunk of an abandoned Tesla.
The vehicle, found in a tow yard in Hollywood, was found to be registered to the rapper, 20, who was on tour when the young girl's body was found.
She was found on what would've been her 15th birthday, though the authorities believe she likely died weeks prior to the grim discovery.

Now, a childhood friend of D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, has revealed what he knows about the singer.
Speaking to The Mirror US, the buddy described him as 'completely normal' and even hinted he was shy, saying they enjoyed playing video games together as teens.

"I used to play video games with D4vd; he was actually a really insane player," he said. "He used to play Call of Duty, 2K, and a few others."
The person, who asked to remain anonymous, continued: "We’d stay online for hours at a time in large video game lobbies, shooting the s**t.
"He was definitely calm and quiet, but he was smart and completely normal."
They added that the singer liked to keep to himself most of the time, though seemed to 'always be surrounded' by what they dubbed a 'weird and odd' crowd of people.
The insight comes as cops stepped up their investigation into Hernandez's death as a suspected homicide.
Los Angeles cops were called to reports of a bad odor coming from the electric vehicle, which had been impounded in the lot after it was found abandoned in Hollywood Hills days earlier.

Investigators soon determined the vehicle was registered to the musician, though Burke was not initially named as a person of interest in the case or charged with any crimes.
He has since been named as a person of interest in connection with the case.
The then 13-year-old girl was first reported missing by her mom in April 2024 after reportedly running away from her home in Lake Elsinore, California.
Celeste's family told NBC Los Angeles that the teen knew the singer personally and had been on her way to see a movie with him before her sudden disappearance.
Speaking to NBC4 Investigates, cops revealed Celeste likely died in the spring and was found dismembered in the vehicle, though an autopsy is yet to confirm her cause of death.
On November 24, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner said that they had received a court order from the LAPD to put a security alert on Hernandez’s case.
“No records or details associated with the case, including the cause and manner of death and Medical Examiner report, can be released or posted on the website until further notice,” the medical examiner said in a statement.
