Sheen, who detailed a HIV diagnosis in 2015, was paying $53,000 to a so-called ‘Hollywood madam’ for the services of her prostitutes, as per the Associated Press.

The actor detailed the staggering amount during the federal tax evasion trial of Heidi Fleiss, while he added in an out-of-court statement: "I apologize to my family, my future wife and my close friends for any embarrassment these incidents may have caused."
Speaking with Page Six, Sheen revealed he has had no partners since he got sober in 2017, which has lead to him living a 'celibate' lifestyle.

He said: "If I don’t have a girlfriend and I’m not paying for it, then I think the math is pretty simple. The math is pretty simple."
But with his HIV under control, the Golden Globe winner is hoping to find love again one day.
"Oh my gosh, for so long [sex] was all I cared about, or it was near the top of the priority list," he added.

"And so I just saw [celibacy] as a needed break from those pursuits. That’s not me slamming the door on anything in the future. No, I would absolutely welcome some type of companionship."
Sheen also has another project coming out this week in the form of his memoir, The Book of Sheen.
Speaking about the book, Sheen told Page Six: "I think one of the running themes in the book is that it is really all about choices. And so everything I did leading up to those consequences, results, whatever you want to call ’em, were done by choice.
"I always kept this as my north star … it can’t be written from the standpoint of the viewpoint of a victim."

Elsewhere in the documentary, the 60-year-old opens up about his intimate experiences with same-sex relationships, which he dubbed as ‘f****ng liberating’.
When asked how it felt to be talking about it publicly, Sheen says: "Liberating. It's f***ing liberating ... [to] just talk about stuff. It's like a train didn't come through the side of the restaurant.
"A f***ing piano didn't fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me."
