Brooke Shields candidly admits adult daughters still sleep in bed with her

Brooke Shields has admitted that her adult daughters still sleep in her bed with her.

Model and actor Brooke, 58, has two girls who she shares with husband Chris Henchy, 60.

Brooke explained the girls are 'her babies' and 'will never not be'.

"You know, the minute my husband is on any type of work trip or gone or something, you know, they still sleep in the bed with me," she told SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show.

"We still watch rom-coms. They're my babies and they will never not be."

Brooke explained the girls - Rowan, 20 and Grier, 18 - are both off to college in the fall, which she says she's been 'avoiding thinking about'.

The mom-of-two continued: "Yeah, I've been avoiding thinking of it because people will say to me, 'Oh, you're gonna be so relieved' and I just don't see it happening.

"I was like, 'Well, they're still gonna come back,' and by the way, the cost of just living in this city is so prohibitive anyways that it may work in my favor.

"Maybe I'll start charging them rent though. That might be a good idea."

Brooke shared an emotional social media post last month when her youngest daughter, Grier, turned 18.

"My baby girl is 18! I love being your mom and seeing the wonderful woman you’re growing into... Happy golden birthday, Grier! I love you!" she wrote.

The actor posted a series of throwback photos, some from when her daughter was just a toddler.

Brooke has previously spoken about the relationship she had with her own mother, Terri, who passed away in 2012.

In a Hulu documentary called Brooke Shields: Pretty Baby, the actor teared up when she was asked why her mother let her star in intimate scenes when she was just a child.

Brooke was only around 10 years old when she began landing acting roles, and in 1978 she appeared in the drama movie Pretty Baby as Violet, an abused child forced into sex work.

During the movie, Brooke had her first kiss in a scene with her co-star - who was 29 years old at the time.

Just a few years later, when she was 14 years old, Brooke starred in the movie Blue Lagoon; a film about two cousins who fall in love after being shipwrecked on a beautiful island.

Despite barely being a teenager, Brooke was forced to be partially nude for most of the film and admitted that it would never ‘be allowed now’.

The star teared up as she recalled her experiences, telling filmmakers that it felt normal at the time but adding: "I don’t know why she thought it was all right."

Upon hearing more about Brooke's previous roles, Rowan shared her shock at the scenes her mother had appeared in as a child.

“It’s child pornography! Would you have let us [do that] at the age of 11?" she asked Brooke, who tearfully replied: "No."
