Billie Eilish went viral for her public condemnation of the mega wealthy. But what about her own net worth?
The Birds of a Feather hitmaker accepted an award at the Wall Street Journal's 2025 Innovator Awards earlier this week.
In a room with some of the world's richest people, including Meta founder Mark Zuckerburg, Eilish called for billionaires to give away their wealth.
She also referred to them as 'shorties'. As you do.

Heading on stage to collect her award, Eilish addressed the crowd: "We're in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark, and people need empathy and help more than kind of ever, especially in our country."
She then went on to highlight that the wealthier people in the room could be making better use of their cash.

"If you have money, it would be great to use it for good things and maybe give it to some people that need it," she said.

"I love you all, but there's a few people in here that have a lot more money than me and if you're a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?
"Give your money away, shorties."
According to the 39th annual Forbes list of the world's billionaires, there were a record 3,028 billionaires in 2025, with a total net wealth of a staggering $16.1 trillion.
But where does Eilish fall on the wealthy scale?

As of 2020, the popstar has a net worth of $53 million, according to Forbes.
At 18 years old, she became the youngest Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2019 member.
Meanwhile, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was estimated by Forbes to be the wealthiest person in the world, with a $342 billion net worth.

Zuckerberg was second with $216 billion, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in third place with a net worth of $215 billion.
Forbes' 'real-time' billionaires tracker now places Oracle's Larry Ellison at No. 2.
And while Eilish's net worth is larger than the average person will ever achieve, the singer really is putting her money where her mouth is.

At the WSJ Innovator Awards, she confirmed she was donating $11.5 million from her most recent tour, the Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour, to charities focusing on fighting food inequity and climate change.
Last summer, the star was slammed for the astronomical price of some of her tickets.
In some venues, fans were looking at paying at up to $521 a ticket - though a chunk of these special 'Changemaker' tickets were being donated to charity.
