MrBeast's YouTube channel has been watched by a hefty chunk of the entire world population.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has impressed fans all over with his latest news about his popular channel.

MrBeast is best known for pioneering an entire genre of YouTube videos that revolve around some very elaborate stunts.

Some titles of his most popular videos include '$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life' which received a staggering 358 million views and 'Last To Leave Circle Wins $500,000', which amassed an impressive 257 million views.

So it's fair to say, the guy knows how to gain an audience, and a huge one at that.

MrBeast revealed the news to his fans on Twitter.

But exactly how many people across the globe are tuning in to watch his content?

Taking to Twitter today (5 February), the YouTube sensation shared just how many people have visited his channel.

He posted: "Our Youtube channel has reached 616,000,000 different people in the last 90 days."

The 24-year-old added that the number amounted to 'almost 10% of the world'.

And fans are calling the news 'insane'.

Almost 10 per cent of the world has watched MrBeast's channel.

The tweet alone has already wracked up 2.9 million views, 68.2k likes and a whole avalanche of comments.

One Twitter user wrote: "Well deserved. You’re the best."

While others found the statistic 'crazy'.

One person commented: "Crazy to think you have only dominated 10%... Next 10 years are gonna be wild."

"No one does it like MrBeast," another added.

While a fifth wrote: "Wow, it's really awesome to see your content doing incredible!"

MrBeast sure knows how to gain an audience.

However, one fan wanted to do some more digging. They wanted to know what the amount of people who have tuned into 'all' of his channels.

"What about combined from all your channels?" they asked.

"I’d say," MrBeast replied, "if you included every channel, my Twitter, Insta, and TikTok, it’s prob like 1.1 billion uniques."

Clearly, he is no stranger to social media.

Which could be why the 24-year-old plucked up the courage to reach out to none other than Elon Musk to ask if he could assume the title of Twitter CEO back in December last year.

Without a resume, MrBeast opted for a more informal job application and simply tweeted Musk: "Can I be the new Twitter CEO?"

And surprisingly, the billionaire responded: "It’s not out of the question."

But it seemingly doesn’t stop at just being the next Twitter CEO.

The YouTuber also recently asked his followers whether he should run for US President on a social media poll titled: "Would you vote for me if I ran for president?"

And a whopping 2,005,403 votes were cast, with 70.1 per cent of voters saying 'Yes'.

I mean, go hard or go home right?
