32-year-old Miley Cyrus has opened up about the highs and lows of her personal life and intriguingly spoke about her feelings towards parenthood.

The reasoning behind it proved rather simple and garnered support from her fans and non-fans alike.
Speaking about potentially becoming a mother, Miley reflected on a conversation she had with her stepdad.
She said he asked, ‘Why are you the only one without a makeup line?’
“I was like, ‘Cause that’s not my passion.’ He goes, ‘That’s the right answer.’"

Miley noted that this type of thinking is kind of how she looks at becoming a mom.
She continued: “And it made so much sense. It’s like, ‘I don’t have a makeup line because I’m not a makeup artist'.
“I feel that way about motherhood. It’s just never been something that I’ve been overly passionate about. It’s a lot of responsibility and devotion and energy, and if you’re not passionate about that, I don’t know how you do sleepless nights and 18 years of what my mom dealt with.”

People on social media seemed to have really resonated with Miley’s candid answer and spoken of their own decision not to have children.
On a Reddit post discussing the interview, one user wrote: “It amazes me how many people are lukewarm about having children and that somehow pushes them to yes.
“I wouldn't even book a vacation I wasn't 1000% pumped about and people are out there creating human beings because maybe they'll grow into it.”

Another said: “Good for her. Seriously, I mean that. If you don’t want to do it, then don’t. No shame in that. Don’t listen to the people who say you can’t be happy without children and just need to plug out as many of those ‘little blessings’ as possible.”
A third added: “This is why I don’t have kids either. I think about how much work it is and I don’t think I’m up to it, and that’s not fair to my hypothetical kids.”
With another person simply writing: “I really love and appreciate Miley's honesty. Not every woman wants to have kids or wants to wear make-up. It doesn't make anyone less of a woman.”
