Miley Cyrus joked she was still ‘Niley for life’ after reflecting on her old relationship with pop star Nick Jonas.
Miley Cyrus has been in the public eye for quite some time, so fans have gotten used to seeing her relationships highs and woes over the years.
But in a rare comment on Friday June 6, speaking on the Every Single Album podcast, Miley gave some insights into one of her earliest ex-boyfriends, Nick Jonas.

Speaking on the podcast, Miley revealed how she wanted to refer to Jonas in her 2009 book Miles to Go, and how the ghostwriter behind the book had to convince her otherwise.

Reflecting on her attitude at the time, the singer said: “I probably was like … 'Nick Jonas dumped me, he’s a dick.' But they were like, 'We can say he’s not a very nice boy.'
"But I was probably like, ‘He’s an a******.'”
Speaking about her feelings towards the Jonas Brother singer now, she explained that is far from how she feels now and while they have both moved on relationship-wise, she is still fond of him.

She said: “I like Nick. I'm into him. Everything is good in the world. Niley for life.”
Miley did go on to joke that despite their relationship now being ancient history, both Nick and her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth are still ‘catching strays’ from her fans.
Ancient history is right as they dated for about a year and a half, way back in 2006.
In 2008, after the breakup, Miley spoke about how she responded when the pair parted ways.

Speaking to Seventeen, she said: “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great.

“And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.
“Since [the breakup], I’ve realized that I’ve met so many great guys, but I like being the girl nobody can have.”
