Fans have said Jessica Simpson is aging in reverse after she shared a new youthful-looking selfie to Instagram.
The 42-year-old singer shared a snap to Instagram showing off her flawless complexion and flowing blonde locks, writing alongside the photo: “Somedays ya just have to feel your intention and let it shine.”
In the photo, Simpson can be seen sporting several necklaces and a fur-collared jacket, while she wore a full face of make-up complete with long false eyelashes.
Fans loved the close-up shot, with some suggesting she was ‘aging backwards’, and others complimenting her on her glamorous make-up.
One fan commented: “Still looks 21. Beautiful.”
Another said: “Who did your makeup girl? It’s gorgeous!”
A third wrote: “She’s literally aging backwards!”
Someone else commented: “The most beautiful lady. She looks so great here but she always looks equally great without a drop of makeup.”
“I photographed you 25 years ago,” another said. “You looked amazing then and are even more beautiful today.”
The stunning snap is in stark contrast to an altogether less glamorous image she shared on Instagram earlier this year.
The mum-of-three kept things real on her Instagram page back in February, posting a photo of herself going for a wee mid-photoshoot. Sometimes the call of nature cannot be ignored, right?
In the shot, Simpson could be seen attempting to navigate around her underwear and bending over while getting ready to pee - though hopefully not on her light grey boots, which definitely didn't look made to withstand a golden shower.
Captioning the photo, Simpson said: "When you gotta go, you gotta go.”
A good point, well made - but do we have to share it with six million people? Also, is anyone else wondering who took this?
The unusual post garnered a mix reaction from her followers, with some finding it pretty funny and others shocked she would share such an intimate moment.
"I’m sorry but nobody needs to see that. And it’s not funny! Just attention seeking! So sad," one critic wrote, with another adding: "You don’t have to post everything you do online lady ..."
However, a fan hit back the negative Nellies, writing: "Dude. These comments do not pass the vibe check. I'm sober and I’ve done this a million times.
"It’s funny. You can’t see anything. She’s always been goofy. Y’all are just looking for reasons to judge and hate. Get a better hobby."
