Dwayne Johnson caught in ‘strange lie’ that’s left fans confused

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has been caught in a bizarre lie that has left his fans baffled.
To say Johnson is popular would be quite an understatement.
The former professional wrestler turned actor has become one of the most recognizable faces in the world and a video he recently posted to Instagram has certainly showcased this.
On December 23, Johnson shared his experience of going to multiple In-N-Out Burger fast-food restaurants.

The sweet video shows staff members stunned at having the superstar casually rock up to the drive-thru and behave like the friendliest on Earth.
However, one lie from Johnson has left fans confused.
“My first ever @innout burger experience. Rolled up in my pick up and tried to be cool af with my order,” he wrote in the caption.
“But I didn’t know the lingo, didn’t know who to pay, where to pay, didn’t know s**t, but I’m a quick study.
“Loved everyone’s positive vibes and their 'holy s**t it’s the rock' energy. LOVED the grub.
“And love how everyone in the drive-thru looked at me like I have three heads when I give them a tip.
“Thank you In and Out for being awesome and I’ll see ya down the road.”
All seems pretty innocent but some fans pointed out that Johnson has previously gone to the food franchise before and had even posted to social media about it.
“What a strange lie to tell, especially when his previous visit to In N Out was immortalized on social media. Like what was his goal here,’ one baffled user wrote.
“This is not the first time you’ve been to In-N-Out Mr Dwayne Johnson,” another added.
While others highlighted he posted about having In-N-Out in a 2022 social media post, and another in 2017.
The Rock later edited his Instagram caption and simply chalked it up to forgetting he had previously tried some of the fast-food chain's grub.
He added: "My first ever @innout burger experience - AGAIN. (thanks to the fans who reminded me that I went to In and Out years ago and totally forgot about it)."
Some fans did defend The Rock by joking that restaurant's food is admittedly quite forgettable while others came up with a more reasonable explanation - the actor had been neuralized by the Men in Black.
All the same, the video was sweet reminder that celebrities love to do normal stuff as well.
