30 Rock star Alec Baldwin has explained why he and Hilaria have so many children as they prepare to welcome their seventh child together.
The Baldwins shared the news of their current pregnancy in March, before revealing a couple of months later they were expecting a little girl.
The newest arrival will join the family which already consists of one-year-olds Eduardo and María Lucía, sons Romeo, Leonardo and Rafael, and eight-year-old daughter, Carmen. Baldwin also shares another daughter, 28-year-old Ireland Baldwin, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.

This week, Baldwin took to Instagram to share a video of his two youngest children dressed in fluffy babygrows with ears on the hoods, waiting patiently as Hilaria handed them each a bottle.
Alongside the clip, which was overlaid with gentle piano music, Baldwin explained people regularly comment on how many children he and his wife share, with many asking 'why'.
"This is why," he continued. "The thing in this life that matters most to me are these people."
Hilaria shared the same clip on her own Instagram page, writing: "Some kids want to be superheroes and royals, my babies want to be puppies…as they are animal super fans. They dressed up last night…see again that [Eduardo] always gives [María Lucía] the bottle first? So sweet.”
Fans expressed their adoration for the children after Baldwin shared the clip, with one responding: "Family is everything and it’s no one’s business how many children you have or why."
The couple expressed their excitement for their newest arrival in another post shared on Instagram, where the soon-to-be mother-of-seven wrote: "After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall.
"We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise. I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids... Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives.
"A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times. I’ve missed you during my break from social media…I’m back and looking forward to continuing with you this wild journey that we call 'life'. Our love to you and your loved ones."
News of the new baby came following Baldwin's involvement in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was accidentally killed on the set of the film Rust while Baldwin was holding a gun being used as a prop.
