After years of feuding, Aaron Carter made up with his brother Nick before he died, a representative has said.
The brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter was sadly found dead at his apartment on 5 November, aged 34.
The two siblings, who reportedly weren't always on the best of terms, 'were finally in a good place when [Aaron] died', his rep has said.
Aaron’s rep told HollywoodLife: "[Aaron] was on the path to making amends with so many people in his life, and he had made amends and made peace with Nick.
"Aaron was happy about this because he loved his brother.
"He looked up to Nick in so many ways. They were trying to make everything good again."
Los Angeles County Police Department say officers attended Carter’s residence in Lancaster, California on Saturday and found someone had died.
Nick mourned his little brother's death and paid a touching tribute on social media, which read: "My heart has been broken today.
"Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded.
"I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed."
The Backstreet Boys also paid their respects to Carter at their gig in London.
Vocalist Kevin Richardson lead the line and said: "Tonight, we’ve got a little bit of heavy hearts.
"Because we lost one of our family members yesterday.
"We just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognise him.
"Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter, passed away yesterday, and he’s a part of our family and we thank you guys for all the love, all your well-wishes, and all your support."
A teary Nick is seen in the background as fans and the band issued their support to the grieving brother.
Comedian Loni Love said “I felt that he was trying….he really was just trying to be happy. I’m sorry to hear of his passing.. Condolences to his family and fans."
Disney Channel star Christy Carlson Romano added: “Incredibly sad about the passing of Aaron Carter. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.”
