'World's Most Identical Twins' Trying For A Baby With The Same Man

Anna and Lucy want to get pregnant together, or not at all

Meet Anna and Lucy DeCinque, the 'world's most identical twins' trying to get pregnant at the same time – with the same man.

The 35-year-old siblings, who earlier won a competition for their likeness, are on a mission to have children. However, they have no interest in embarking on that adventure on their own – they want to do it together, or not at all.

As part of TLC's Extreme Sisters series, viewers have been given an insight into their unique set-up, from their close dynamic to their mutual fiancé Ben Byrne.

Check out a clip of Anna and Lucy finding out about their pregnancy tests below:

The sisters have been with Ben for 11 years, all sleeping together in the same supersized bed every night. While clearly in a happy throuple, the time has come for the next step.

Anna said: "We've never taken a pregnancy test before. It really is magical how a stick can confirm you are pregnant... we're 35 years old. We've decided we want kids now."

Lucy added: "But in a hurry to be honest... but we need to have babies at the same time. I'm having a heart attack because I'm thinking Anna could be pregnant and I'm not. We'd prefer both of us to be pregnant than one."

In a clip released by TLC, the sisters can be seen taking a pregnancy test together with Ben and eagerly awaiting the results.

Sadly, neither of them were pregnant in the end. "At least we're both not pregnant," they reacted.

Ben proposed to the twins last year, giving them two rings, each with three bands. "Well that can symbolise the three of us," he said.

"Anna, you mean the world to me and I want to spend my life with you, and Lucy, you mean the world to me and I want to spend my life with you too. I love you, I love you both."

Unfortunately, Australia's laws currently don't permit three-way marriages. "I know that we can't legally get married here. This is the best I can do... I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy," Ben said after popping the question.

As you'd likely expect, Anna and Lucy have received some negative comments about their relationship and maternal goals.

Lucy said: "It's not really weird to us. We have one boyfriend and all three of us share the same bed.

"For guys, in their hearts and dreams, they want two girlfriends. We have the same taste in everything, so obviously we're going to like the same boy too."

Anna added: "If I got pregnant, Lucy would definitely get pregnant straight away – because our bodies need to be the same. We would try to make that happen, definitely."
