The Second Coming could be on the cards within the next year, according to a poll that claims to have seen a staggering increase in activity.
Polymarket’s 'Will Jesus Christ return before 2027?' survey has apparently seen a rise in people voting overnight, with people placing their bets on the religious leader making a grand return.
Polymarket is a prediction platform that allows users to bet on events that could happen in the future, but this one seems to have allegedly gained some serious interest within 24 hours, generating $996,648 at the time of writing.
The poll was created and opened up in December of last year, giving people the opportunity to place bets on the Second Coming which, according to the Bible, would see Jesus reset the world and right its wrongs in a giant otherworldly war against evil.

Nearly one million dollars have been wagered on Jesus coming down to Earth and saving us all.

The poll states that the 'market will resolve to Yes if The Second Coming of Jesus Christ occurs by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to No'.
So, if it happens, the poll will automatically be ticked as a ‘yes’, but it has a deadline of the last minute before the New Year of 2027.
While it was sitting at 2.6 for the month of December, it suddenly jumped to 4 percent that Jesus may return.
Oddly, the cost to vote ‘Yes’ is only 4.3 cents, but to vote ‘No’ is 95.9 cents.
Social media users have explained why the poll is sparking hope.
In light of the current state of the world - which has seen global political tensions and scandal errupting around the Epstein files - someone wrote online: “We can only hope…only thing getting us out of this mess…”
If people end up being right, they can expect a nice slice of money to be returned to them, but if they’re wrong... sorry.

So, what can people expect?
Per Matthew 24:36, predicting the Second Coming is highly improbable: “No one knows the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
However, there will be signs.
The verse explains in Matthew 24:3–14 that Jesus revealed there would be people claiming to use his name, ‘wars and rumors of wars’ would come next, and then ‘nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.’
All of this leads to the Second Coming.
Essentially, he meant that it gets worse before it gets better.
So it’s time to hold out for the better, then!
