Some people feel Nostradamus may have the answer for how long the new conflict between the US and Iran will go on after an old prediction has resurfaced.
The strikes by the US and Israel and Iran in late February have seemed to destabilize the Middle East further and left people with a whole host of questions.
While many feel confident the conflict will not go on as long as the US’ last stints in the region, others are less sure.
Donald Trump himself has so far only hinted at how long the conflict will go on for.

Speaking at the White House on March 2, he said that the US is already ‘substantially ahead’ of its time projections. Trump added that the US government projected four-five weeks at the beginning, but noted there is 'capability [for it] to go far longer'.
Well, when there is global military uncertainty, who better to turn to a 16th century astrologist and ‘psychic’.

Following the breakout of this new conflict, some have turned to Nostradamus and his 1555 book ‘Les Propheties’ claiming that he predicted this war as well. All rather convenient, it seems.
One part mentioned has his followers thinking that he was referencing this conflict. The passage reads ‘Seven months great war, people dead through evil / Rouen, Evreux the King will not fail.’
As well as this, some have gone as far to suggest that his mention of a ‘swarm of bees’ is in reference to drones being used in the conflict, something we have already seen from the US, Israel and Iran.
The passage named Quatrain I:26 reads, "The great swarm of bees will arise… by night the ambush…”
Well, there you have it, I guess, some pretty concrete stuff all in all.

In addition to being concerned about the length of the war, people are also worried about potentially being drafted to fight in the conflict.
The Selective Service System, aka the military draft or conscription, requires all 'male persons’ in the US – both citizens and immigrants – between the ages of 18 through to 25, to register for the draft via the government.
This law means that men within this category must register online within 30 days of turning 18.
But there are those who are exempt, such as those on active duty, disabled persons and incarcerated individuals.
