An image of Jeffrey Epstein 'alive and walking the streets' has swiftly been debunked with certain details slammed as 'gibberish'.
Almost as outrageous as how no one named in the most recent files drop has been held accountable and charged, an image has gone viral online claiming late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is alive.
Epstein was found dead in his prison cell on August 10, 2019.
As part of a declassified FBI report, images – many too graphic to show – were published alongside a post-mortem examination.

They showed close-up images of Epstein's body and confirmed the medical examiner's ruling he died by suicide while awaiting trial.
However, another day, another conspiracy theory to grace the internet, and this time it's an image, supposedly of Epstein, claiming he's run away to Israel.
An X account which shared the image captioned it: "Israel faked his death. Epstein is still alive and walking the streets of Tel Aviv."

The image shows three men, the middle of who is allegedly Epstein.
The man has long gray hair, a beard and dark glasses on, and stands very closely in-between two men – one to his left and another just in front.
Sure enough, it didn't take long for the image to be shared across multiple other social media platforms too.
Thankfully, the image has since been officially debunked.
AFP Fact Check performed a reverse image search on the image using Google, which revealed un-cropped versions in which eagle-eyed viewers spotted Google Gemini's signature watermark imprinted on.
The reverse image search also returned a result which clearly stated the image was 'made with Google AI'.

The outlet uncovered what it believes to be 'the earliest iteration' of the image shared to a Reddit thread.
And this is backed up by X's own AI tool, Grok, which added: "The image is AI-generated and was originally posted to r'hardaiimages on Reddit February 1, 2026, whose description reads: 'Post your funny, hard AI images here, feel free to screenshot'."
AFP Fact Check also noted the faulty Hebrew translation on one of the road signs alongside a mistake in the traffic light present in the image.
Grok echoed: "The Hebrew on the signs is gibberish."
Ultimately, the AI image is simply a distraction from what really matters in the latest release of the Epstein files, several survivors having spoken out in a new interview following the release of over three million documents.
While much of the focus on the release of the files has centered on the high-profile figures named in the documents, many have forgotten the impact this has had and will continue to have on the survivors of the child sex offender and his accomplices' crimes.
