A strange discrepancy has been noted in the latest batch of Epstein files, which appears to show the United States Attorney's Office drafting a statement about the pedophile's death dated one day before he actually died.
A review of the three million records dropped by the Department of Justice shows multiple inconsistencies within the statements providing details of the disgraced financier’s death in August 2019.
Jeffrey Epstein was charged with sex trafficking minors in July 2019, and was held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York while he awaited his trial.
However, on August 10, at approximately 6.30am, Epstein was found in his cell after having died by suicide.

But a document the DOJ has released as part of the Epstein files shows a draft press release dated a day earlier on Friday, August 9 2019, detailing how Epstein was found ‘unresponsive’ before being pronounced dead.
The U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of New York announcement, dated one day before he actually died, revealed a notice by Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman, who said: “Earlier this morning, the Manhattan Correctional Center confirmed that Jeffrey Epstein, who faced charges brought by this Office of engaging in the sex trafficking of minors, had been found unresponsive in his cell and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

“Today’s events are disturbing, and we are deeply aware of their potential to present yet another hurdle to giving Epstein’s many victims their day in Court.
"To those brave young women who have already come forward and to the many others who have yet to do so, let me reiterate that we remain committed to standing for you, and our investigation of the conduct charged in the Indictment – which included a conspiracy count – remains ongoing.
"We continue to urge anyone who feels they may be a victim or have information related to the conduct in this case to please contact 1-800- CALL FBI.”

In the statement from the same office that was actually released following Epstein's death on August 10 2019, the text was updated to include the words ‘of an apparent suicide’.
It only adds fuel to the fire for the conspiracy theories that have long circulated surrounding Epstein's death, but it is worth noting that the convicted pedophile had previously attempted suicide in his cell weeks earlier, which might explain why a statement about his death was drafted.
One person wrote on social media: “Jeffery Epstein had not yet ‘killed himself’.”
Another said: “A draft statement from the US DOJ that Epstein has died on August 10th 2019. The only problem? The draft is from August 9th— a day before he actually died.”
LADbible Group has reached out to the Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York for comment.
