Donald Trump has slammed UK prime minister Sir Keir Starmer over his response to the US war in Iran.
US and Israeli forces have carried out waves of strikes against Iran after negotiations over the country's nuclear program did not reach an agreement.
Multiple cities across Iran have been targeted by the US and Israel, and Trump has said that there will be no deal with Iran except for 'unconditional surrender', as Israel strikes Iranian oil depots.
The US uses air bases around the world, including in the UK, but permission had previously not been granted for the bases to be used in the operation.

However, the UK has since said that some bases in Fairford in Gloucestershire as well as Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean can now be used for 'specific and limited defensive purpose'.

The UK's Ministry of Defence has since confirmed that four US bombers have landed at a UK Royal Air Force base on Friday and Saturday.
They said the aircraft had 'started using British bases' for operations 'to prevent Iran firing missiles into the region, which is putting British lives at risk'.
But Trump has now hit out at UK prime minister Keir Starmer over a perceived delay to UK support.
Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: “The United Kingdom, our once great Ally, maybe the greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East.
“That’s OK, prime minister Starmer, we don’t need them any longer - But we will remember. We don’t need people that join wars after we’ve already won!”
This is not the first time that Trump has criticized Starmer, having previously remarked that he is 'not Winston Churchill', referring to the UK's famous wartime leader from World War Two.

British officials have previously confirmed that an aircraft carrier is currently undergoing preparations for a possible deployment to the Middle East as the US and Israeli war with Iran continues.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence has said: “HMS Prince of Wales has always been on very high readiness and we are increasing the preparedness of the carrier, reducing the time it would take to set sail for any deployment.”
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also appears to have hit out at countries which have not allowed the US to use military bases for strikes, including the UK and Spain.
He said: “At a time when we have learned that an ally, when you need them, may not be there for you, these are countries that have been there for us.
“We want you to see that when you are a friend and ally to the United States, it is a good thing and it is reciprocated back the other way.”
UNILAD has approached the UK Ministry of Defence for comment.
