A former professional boxer has claimed there is no proof that the Earth is round - and once revealed 'evidence' to prove it.

Carl Froch is a former British super-middleweight world champion, known for beating George Groves and Jermain Taylor back in his peak.

He retired in 2014 and is now known for his punditry.

Although you might think sport - and specifically boxing - to be Froch's expertise, he's recently delved into a totally different topic, claiming that the 'Earth is flat'.

Froch even accused NASA of faking the 1969 moon landing.

He told the Pound for Pound podcast: “There’s no proof of the Earth’s curvature and this fake space agency NASA uses CGI images and every one is different.

“I’m looking at them thinking, ‘Hang on a minute, they’re like cartoons'.

“When someone like Richard Branson goes up there and starts doing chartered flights… and you can look back on Earth and see the Earth’s curvature, I’ll believe the Earth is a globe.”

Froch also claimed to have 'proof' over his theory, explaining to Macklin’s Take podcast: “Here’s the problem. I’ve tried to prove - and challenge anybody listening to this - prove that the Earth is spherical. Prove that it's round. Prove that it’s actually a globe.”

Host Andrew Clarke replied saying, “All I know is that when Michael Conlan was boxing in Brisbane, we left LA and flew west and 12 hours later we were in Brisbane. So I don’t see how the world can possibly be flat.”

Froch hit back by claiming if the Earth was flat, the flight would follow the same path, adding: “I could get a piece of A4 paper, write down the centre of the flat Earth - which is in the North Pole - and write down the ice wall - which is right down the south side - all the way around the circumference of the flat Earth.

“You would circumnavigate and you’d get from where you just said [LA] to where you just said [Brisbane] in the same flight path.”

Froch is also adamant that 'man didn't walk on the moon', telling Action Network that he believes it was all totally made up.

“When you look at all of the evidence, all the footage, and the fact that they lost all of the telemetric data that tells you that they went to the Moon then I would say that we did not go to the Moon," he said.

"Man did not walk on the Moon. That was a big f**king lie.”
