A video from a warehouse in Spain shows how an accidental fire quickly descended into a roof-destroying inferno as workers only just managed to escape.

Security footage from an aluminum warehouse has been shared online and shows a massive blaze get out of control in seconds.

The incident happened in Spain in June 2022, and has repeatedly done the rounds on social media platforms like X and YouTube.

Reports indicate that the fire was caused accidentally due to a catastrophic failure. Many remarked that the blaze looked so terrifying it seemed like it opened a ‘portal to hell’.

The security footage shows how the two workers react quickly as the fire grows exponentially, before causing the roof to collapse as flaming pieces of debris crash down.

Thankfully no one was injured in the fire, including the employees seen on screen which seems a miracle considering how quickly the entire room becomes unsafe.

Viewers struggled to believe the workers' good fortune and weighed in on the incident after seeing the clip on YouTube. The video, entitled: “A portal to hell at an aluminum plant that swallowed up the entire shop in a matter of seconds,” has so far been viewed over 90,000 times.

“It’s amazing how quickly fires can spread. These men had literally 20 seconds from the time the flames started until the room became completely uninhabitable and unsurvivable,” one user commented.

“Those two workers are SO VERY LUCKY they left when they did considering the immanent disaster that took place only seconds after they were out of view of the camera,” another added.

“Remember, folks, just run. Dont go back for shit. You can buy a new phone. You can take new pictures. You have no idea how soon the roof will come down on you,” anoother said in reference to the moment one of the workers appeared to go back to his desk to grab something.

“I have been in an burning building before. It is all fun and games until you can no longer see or breath. I never actually saw any fire,”

“Dude almost got grilled, only to get his phone or something, they were both very lucky! When fire spreads so frickin' fast, it's consuming lots of oxygen and if they were only hidden, they probably wouldn't have survived that inferno,” said another.

On a safety note, probably best not to go back for your belongings and just leave the area, eh.
