A man who says he's died six times and 'came back' every single time has revealed how the bizarre experience has had a grim impact on his life.

As told in a documentary, Ismail Azizi from Tanzania, Africa, has defied medical science by coming back to life half a dozen times after being declared dead.

The strange tale started when Azizi was critically injured in an accident at work, with doctors declaring his passing not long after.

While his body was taken to the morgue and funeral preparations had started, Azizi stunned everyone when he regained consciousness and walked out.

Those who saw him back in the land of the living ran in terror, fearing they were seeing a ghost before them.

In his second 'death', medics believed Azizi had died from malaria - yet as he lay to rest in his coffin, he apparently 'woke up and realized [he] was alive', much to the dismay of his family.

A horrific road traffic accident landed him in hospital in a coma and ready for a casket once again, but evidently he survived that ordeal, too.

A year later, Azizi was bitten by a venomous snake which many considered was finally his end as he became unresponsive, declared dead and moved into a morgue where he remained for a staggering three days 'dead'.

Yet, as per, he woke up again - only to survive another fatal-looking fall into a pit.

However, locals then became suspicious after his fifth Final Destination-style dodge from death and became convinced he was a dangerous spirit or a witch.

The sixth death came when villagers tried to burn him alive while in his home.

While Azizi again suffocated in the burning inferno, he was once more revived while lying in the morgue. His skin is still scarred from the burns.

Now, the medical marvel has spoken out about his ordeal and the impact his cat-like 'six lives' have had on him.

The 40-year-old said: "People consider me the most powerful witch in our area. Life continued, but I felt that there was something wrong with my life. Every time I died and came back, my body felt very strange."

After his first arrival back from the dead, he said locals started to 'run away' when they saw him and considered if he was an apparition.

"People started treating me as if I were a witch," he said. "After that, life went on but people didn't believe I was a real person.

"Instead, they all thought I was a ghost and some even feared me because of what I had been through."

The man then sadly revealed he lives alone, completely isolated from neighbors and without a wife or children, due to the 'hardships' he has integrating into a community that fear him.

In the documentary, locals also confirmed 'everyone is very scared of him'.

"His experiences are so frightening that I'm afraid of him myself," said another local who knows Azizi well. "I saw it with my own eyes."

"It is terrifying to see someone you know is dead come back to life. Every time we see him, we run, because we can't believe he's human."

Azizi also eerily recalled the time he walked out of a morgue in one instance, saying: "I didn't feel what was happening before, but I woke up again feeling very cold.

Fortunately, the morgue wasn't closed and it was a place where people were laid, not locked in a box alone.

"When I got up and walked, I wasn't fully conscious, but I saw everyone staring at me in shock."
