The woman from the viral 'ain't nobody got time for that' meme ended up suing after the clip took off online.

It's been over a decade since Kimberly Wilkins - aka 'Sweet Brown' - went viral after she escaped a fire in her apartment building.

Back in 2012, the Oklahoma resident was interviewed by local news station KFOR News Channel 4, in the immediate aftermath of the blaze, and her interview quickly became a viral sensation.

"I woke up to get me a cold pop, then I thought somebody was barbecuing," she said in the interview.

"... Then I ran out, I didn't grab no shoes or nothing... and then the smoke got me. I got bronchitis! Ain't nobody got time for that."

The phrase quickly went viral online and has since had millions of views.

Following the clip, Brown even had a stint of fame, starring in commercials, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, and she was even mentioned by Beyoncé at the Superbowl. She also appeared on Tosh.0 where she starred alongside host Daniel Tosh for a segment on fire safety.

Brown was dressed in a superhero outfit, extinguished flames on Tosh, and educated kids who were playing with fire hydrants.

However, the aftermath of Brown's virality was also filled with controversy, when she sued Apple, as well as Seattle's The Bob Rivers Show, who released a song called 'I Got Bronchitis' based on the interview and allegedly without Brown's permission.

Brown filed a $15 million lawsuit, claiming that others were profiting from her voice without any form of payment.

At the time, NewOK reported that Brown had filed the suit, claiming that The Bob Rivers Show had made a profit from her, without consent, although the radio station claimed she had provided permission.

In the end, the case was dismissed and Brown stepped away from the public spotlight.

People still celebrate the clip today, which is available to view online.

One person recently wrote: "10 years later and she still brings a smile to my face."
