Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide which some readers may find distressing.

A fake video of Jeffrey Epstein's last night in his cell was released on Monday (December 22nd) afternoon and then quickly deleted by the Trump administration.

With the release of over 300,000 files last Friday (December 19), after President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law, the world saw pictures of Jeffrey Epstein with many high-profile individuals, along with court documents and handwritten notes.

Those pictured included Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson and more, although their presence in the photos found does not indicate any wrongdoing.

People may very well have been waiting to see if the Republican president would make an appearance in any of the photos, and it seems as if he did, but they were mysteriously deleted from the DOJ website - along with 16 others.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told NBC that the files were taken down due to shielding victims, and it was 'laughable' to suggest it had been removed due to Trump's request.

"There are dozens of photos of President Trump already released to the public seeing him with Mr Epstein.

"So the absurdity of us pulling down a photo, a single photo, because President Trump was in it, is laughable. There were a number of photographs that were pulled down after being released on Friday.

"That's because a judge in New York has ordered us to listen to any victim or victim rights group, if they have any concerns about the material that we're putting up."

Since then, the image of Trump was reinstated on the DOJ website, but that's not the only thing that seems to have gone missing.

According to People and other outlets, a 12-second video was released alongside the files, but only seemed to resurface yesterday afternoon.

The video appeared to recreate the sex offender's final hours in his cell before taking his life by suicide. It was posted with a justice.gov URL with the time-stamp reading Aug. 10, 2019, at 4:29 am.

The disgraced financier was found unresponsive in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York at 6:30 am local time, in 2019. It appeared he had hung himself with his bedsheets.

The video's brief appearance featured a man who looked like Epstein, but as we say, has been reported as being a fake.

This comes as reports explain there was no camera in the room the night of Trump's former associate's death, so the footage could not have been of the actual incident.

It also appears to be animated and does not truly reflect how Epstein was actually found that fateful morning.

The report explained: "Recorded video evidence for August 9 and 10 for the SHU (special housing unit) area where Epstein was housed was only available from one prison security camera due to a malfunction."

LADbible Group has contacted the US Department of Justice for comment.
