Bill Clinton has claimed to know why Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump – who are thought to have once been close friends – fell out with one another.
Trump and Epstein are believed to have rubbed shoulders in the 1990s and 2000s, having been pictured together on numerous occasions; one of the most famous photos being one of them at the Mar-a-Lago estate, Palm Beach, Florida, in 1997.
They seemed to have been acquaintances for quite some time, with Trump hailing Epstein as a 'terrific guy' in a 2002 interview.
One report suggested that they were pals for as long as 15 years and in this timeframe Trump hosted a party for 'young women' where Epstein was the only guest.

But things reportedly turned sour between Epstein and Trump before his 2019 arrest. Speaking at the time the disgraced financier was apprehended, the president said he hadn't spoken to Epstein in 15 years, PBS reported.

It's been unclear why they supposedly stopped talking, but Bill Clinton now now shed some light on it all.
Speaking at his House Oversight Committee interview last week, Clinton claimed that Epstein and Trump fell out 'all because of a real estate deal'.
"Donald Trump would come out and play a few holes [of golf] with us," the former president shared. "He somehow knew I had flown in Jeffrey Epstein's aircraft. And he said, 'You know, we had some great times together over the years, but we fell out all because of a real estate deal'."
Apparently Trump then said to Clinton that he was 'sorry' that the fallout had happened.
Clinton insisted that the now-president didn't elaborate further on the so-called 'great times' he had with Epstein before ending their friendship.

Both Clinton and Trump have insisted that they never saw any signs of sex trafficking before Epstein's initial 2008 arrest. He went on to plead guilty to state charges of procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute in Florida and served 13 months in county jail.
Elsewhere in Clinton's deposition he was grilled about Epstein's death and asked if he thinks that the took his own life.
He was asked: "I would just like to ask you, personally and directly: do you believe that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself?"
After some back and forth between Cheryl Mills and the committee member asking the question, Clinton eventually replied: "I don't know. I don't know what the medical finding was. I think maybe he finally got caught and– I don't know."
