After Donald Trump won the primary elections in 2024, Marjorie Taylor Greene has revealed some Republicans changed their attitudes towards the president.

Georgia Congresswoman Greene has been locked in a war of words with Trump in recent months, which lead to the president 'withdrawing his support' for his Republican colleague.

Trump went on to say he did not have time to deal with her and began to talk about his ‘achievements’ since returning to the White House.

The POTUS added in a Truth Social post: "All I see 'Wacky' Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!)."

Trump further branded her as a 'ranting lunatic', and a few days later, Greene announced that she was quitting Congress.

Greene has since sat down with CBS for an interview on 60 Minutes, and she has revealed what some Republicans previously thought of Trump.

In one part of their discussion, host Lesley Stahl asked Greene what some of her fellow politicians say about the president behind his back.

"I think they're terrified to step out of line and get nasty Truth Social posts about them," she said about some of her colleagues.

She went on: "I've watched a lot of my colleagues go from making fun of [Trump], making fun of how he talks, making fun of me constantly for supporting him. When he won the primary in 2024, they all decided to start kissing his a*s and putting on a MAGA hat for the first time."

Trump was quick to respond to the 60 Minutes interview, describing his colleague as a 'rotten apple' following her latest remarks.

"The only reason Marjorie 'Traitor' Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!)," the president penned on Truth Social.

"Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD - She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple! Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person."

Continuing his insults, Trump added that Greene 'made many really stupid statements' and insisted that she had a low IQ.

UNILAD has previously reached out to Greene's office for comment.
