A letter addressed to Harvard University and signed by Linda McMahon has been branded as being written by someone who's 'barely literate'.
When she's not getting slammed to the ground in a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fight - which McMahon co-founded with husband Vince McMahon - Linda McMahon is Donald Trump's education secretary.
On Monday (May 5), McMahon shared a copy of a letter signed by her, sent to Harvard University's president, Dr Alan Garber.

The letter accuses Harvard of 'engaging in a systemic pattern of violating federal law' and making 'a mockery of this country's higher education system'.
Alleging that it has invited foreign students 'who engage in violent behavior and show contempt for the United States of America,' Harvard has 'failed to abide by its legal obligations, its ethical and fiduciary duties, its transparency responsibilities, and any semblance of academic rigor'.
However, social media users have since pointed out the letter may've been lacking its own 'academic rigor'.

McMahon shared the letter to her Twitter page on May 5, tagging Harvard.
However, her strongly worded document has since received an outpouring of backlash, many humorously pointing out a number of errors in her letter.
One Twitter user wrote: "Haha you misspelled largesse," while another added: "This reads like it was written by a middle school vice principal."
Someone else decided to let Twitter's AI chatbot Grok analyze the letter for errors, and well, the results speak for themselves.

Grok noted parts of the letter were 'awkward,' and exhibits a 'disrupted flow' with multiple parts being 'hard to follow'.
It also critiqued the 'tone' of parts of the letter alongside containing 'cliché' phrases.
There were also words 'unnecessarily capitalized' alongside other 'grammatical errors'.

"The intended meaning seems to be a call for Harvard to take the issue seriously, but the phrasing is convoluted and fails to convey that clearly, aligning with Skidmore’s point about awkward structures obscuring meaning," Grok resolved.
One user even marked up the letter using red pen - echoing how teachers mark homework.
White House correspondent Andrew Feinberg resolved: "Whoever wrote this is barely literate."
And a final user suggested: "Probably better letting AI write these letters."

Elsewhere, the letter draws on 'humiliating plagiarism scandals,' accusing the university of hiring 'failed' mayors, alongside 'left-leaning Obama political appointee Penny Pritzker' 'running the institution in a totally chaotic way'.
It also says the university has 'disastrous management, indicating an urgent need for massive reform'.
The letter also states Harvard has 'failed to abide by the United States Supreme Court's ruling demanding that it end its racial preferencing' before noting there's such a 'long list' of 'consistent violations' it can only resolve by warning the uni it should 'no longer seek GRANTS from the federal government, since none will be provided'.
An official who previewed the action before McMahon posted the letter on social media said, as quoted by Mail Online: "For Harvard to become eligible for those competitions again, it would have to enter into a negotiation with the government to satisfy what the government says is in compliance with all federal laws."
UNILAD has contacted representatives of Linda McMahon and Harvard for comment.
