New emails show reason Jeffrey Epstein was permanently banned from Xbox Live

Epstein is believed to have been permanently suspended in 2013

Newly released emails have revealed that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was banned from Xbox Live.

The latest Epstein files were released on Friday (January 30), with three million documents, along with 180,000 images and 2,000 videos published online.

A number of famous faces have appeared in the latest files, including Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who appeared to be photographed kneeling over a woman.

Epstein also claimed in the latest files that Bill Gates 'caught a sexually transmitted disease' after sleeping with 'Russian girls'.

He also claimed Gates asked for antibiotics to 'surreptitiously give' to his now ex-wife, Melinda.

A spokesperson for Gates has categorically denied the claims, telling LADbible in a statement: "These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false.

"The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”

It's important to note that being named or photographed in the files does not indicate any wrongdoing.

Also in the files are emails from 2013, in which Epstein was found to be 'permanently suspended due to harassment, threats, and/or abuse of other players' from Xbox Live, as per XboxEra.

However, it turns out that Epstein was banned following an agreement between Microsoft and the New York Attorney General that all registered sex offenders would be banned from the gaming platform.

While it's not immediately clear if Epstein had been gaming on Xbox himself, an email in 2014 sees him asking his executive assistant if 'we have an xbox 360 kinect?' while another email in 2016 shows a discussion about buying an Xbox as a gift for a boy.

A third message from 2019 reads: “Why is there a $25.24 charge on Xbox?”

The year that Epstein was banned by Xbox is around the same time that Elon Musk was allegedly sending emails regarding a trip to Epstein's island.

The Tesla CEO seemingly told Epstein he would be in the British Virgin Islands over the holiday period and asked if there is a good time to visit.

Musk wrote to Epstein in December 2013: "Will be in the BVI/St Bart's area over the holidays. Is there a good time to visit?"

Epstein then said: “Any day 1st-8th. Play it by ear if you want. Always space for you... The 2 or 3 would be perfect. I will come and get you.”

Musk has since responded to the newly released files, writing on X: "No one pushed harder than me to have the Epstein files released, and I’m glad that has finally happened.

"I had very little correspondence with Epstein and declined repeated invitations to go to his island or fly on his 'Lolita Express', but was well aware that some email correspondence with him could be misinterpreted and used by detractors to smear my name.

"I don’t care about that, but what I do care about is that we at least attempt to prosecute those who committed serious crimes with Epstein, especially regarding heinous exploitation of underage girls."
