Elon Musk's daughter has spoken out after the US Justice Department released a new batch of documents from the Epstein files.
On Friday (January 30), three million documents, 180,000 images and 2,000 videos were published by the US Justice Department, relating to convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
While several famous faces have been named in the documents, being included does not suggest any wrongdoing.
One document released on Friday shows what appears to be an email thread between Musk and Epstein, in which the pair could be seen discussing Musk possibly visiting Little Saint James, Epstein’s island.

In the emails, the Tesla CEO tells Epstein he will be in the British Virgin Islands/St Barts region over the holiday period and asks if there is a good time to visit.
Musk wrote to Epstein in December 2013: "Will be in the BVI/St Bart's area over the holidays. Is there a good time to visit?"
Epstein then says: “Any day 1st-8th. Play it by ear if you want. Always space for you... The 2 or 3 would be perfect. I will come and get you.”

Musk responds: "I need to fly back to LA on the night of the 2nd... actually, I could fly back early on the 3rd. We will be in St Bart's. When should we head to your island on the 2nd?"
There is then some back-and-forth over dates, and it's not clear whether the trip ever took place.
In response to the new release, Musk wrote on X: "No one pushed harder than me to have the Epstein files released and I’m glad that has finally happened.
"I had very little correspondence with Epstein and declined repeated invitations to go to his island or fly on his 'Lolita Express', but was well aware that some email correspondence with him could be misinterpreted and used by detractors to smear my name.
"I don’t care about that, but what I do care about is that we at least attempt to prosecute those who committed serious crimes with Epstein, especially regarding heinous exploitation of underage girls."
Following the release of the email thread, Musk's daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, shared a post on Threads, where she said: "There was this boat ride from St Vincent to St Barth's I remember from when I was little. We used to visit around the holidays.
"I remember the sea being so dark at night."

Wilson would have been around 9 years old when the emails were sent.
Wilson is one of Musk's children from his first marriage to Justine Wilson. But the 21-year-old - who is transgender - has distanced herself from Musk, filing a petition to change her name in 2022 stating she didn't want to be 'related to [her] biological father in any way, shape or form'.
UNILAD has reached out to Musk for comment.
