JD Vance has slammed the ‘incestuous’ nature of ‘America’s elites’ following the latest batch of Epstein files to be released but insists that Donald Trump is not involved.
Just over 3 million files were released by the Department of Justice last week relating to their investigation into the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, including several emails from Bill Gates and Elon Musk, along with compromising photographs of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Yet while it’s safe to say that President Trump, like the men in the files, has both ‘wealth and power’, the Vice President insisted that Trump himself is separate from that network.
Speaking to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Feb. 3, Vance, 41, said: “President Trump is very much outside of the social circle.”

“He knows a lot of these people. He certainly has similar wealth and power. But he never really was friendly with Epstein in a way that a lot of these other people were.”

“I think that it just shows there's an incestuous nature to America's elites, and it's pretty gross. And, a lot of people, I think, it reflects very poorly on them,” he added.
Donald Trump has sought to distance himself from allegations pertaining to the pedophile financier and has always strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
Initially Trump downplayed his connection to Epstein, but did later admit they previously had a friendship, however he claims this came to an end in 2004, long before Epstein was accused of - and convicted – of sex trafficking.
The President has however, appeared in several photographs and files released by the House Oversight Committee last December.
These include Trump pictured alongside a group of women with their faces blurred out, and another photo that shows the president’s face featured in cartoon form on a set of ‘Trump Condoms’ for sale.

Following the release of those images, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson slammed the Democrats for what she described as ‘cherry picking’ files with ‘random redactions to create a false narrative.’
"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked and the Trump Administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends," the spokesperson continued at the time. "It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted."
