Bill Gates has issued a fiery response after it was alleged in the Jeffrey Epstein files that he 'caught a sexually transmitted disease' after 'sleeping with Russian girls'.
Three million documents, 180,000 images, and 2000 videos were published on Friday (January 30) by the US Justice Department related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting his trial for sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.
Since the document's release, a few public figures have cropped up; however, inclusion in the files doesn't suggest any wrongdoing.
One document released included several shocking allegations about Microsoft’s founder, Gates, in a memo Epstein seemed to have sent to himself.

At first, it claimed he had been 'sleeping with Russian girls', and that Gates had allegedly asked for antibiotics to 'surreptitiously give' to his now ex-wife, Melinda.

Per the image of an email dated July 18, 2013, it reads: "To add insult to the injury you them [sic] implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis."
In another email sent an hour earlier, he suggested that he was resigning from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation after he was apparently involved in a 'severe marital dispute' between the couple, further claiming that he was asked to do things that could be considered 'potentially over the line into the illegal'.
"From helping Bill to get drugs, in order to deal with consequences of sex with russian girls, to facilitating his illicit trysts, with married women, to being asked to provide adderall fro [sic] bridge tournamnts [sic]," he claimed.
It is unknown if the emails were ever sent to Gates.
A spokesperson for Gates has since responded, telling LADbible Group in a statement: "These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false. The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”

Gates has previously expressed regret for having spent time with Epstein, telling The Wall Street Journal in 2025 that it was a 'huge mistake'.
"He sort of got time with various people by spending time with other people," he said.
"So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that and it was just a huge mistake."
Melinda and Bill announced their plan to separate in May 2021, with their divorce finalised in August that year. The former couple share three children together: Jennifer, 30, Rory, 25, and 23-year-old Phoebe.
