Erika Kirk fans slam 'haters' after she's accused of another 'inappropriate' hug with country singer

It comes after Erika Kirk was involved in a similar moment with JD Vance

Fans of Erika Kirk have rushed to her defence after she was accused of another 'inappropriate' hug, this time with country singer Jason Aldean.

In September, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at an event organized by his company Turning Point USA at Utah Valley University.

Kirk was sat under an open tent while taking questions from the audience when he was fatally shot in the neck.

Following the right-wing commentator's passing, Erika pledged to 'complete his vision' for the non-profit organization as she became its new CEO.

Erika has stood true to her world - meaning she has been in the public eye a lot more.

She hosted an event last month at the University of Mississippi as part of the 'This Is the Turning Point' tour where JD Vance was invited.

The vice president came on stage at one point and hugged Erika before taking to the podium, with the whole interaction being a big talking point.

As they embraced, Erika put her hand on the back of Vance's head in a rather intimate moment which has raised some eyebrows.

Another series of tight embraces from Erika has taken over the internet once more after she received the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards on Thursday (November 6).

The 36-year-old was presented with the accolade by country singer Aldean and his wife, Brittany, when an embrace similar to what happened with Vance took place.

Reacting to the embrace on X, formerly known as Twitter, one social media user wrote: "It's not a healthy way to hug someone. It's overly familiar. It's intimate. She has poor boundaries."

Other claimed Erika's hugs to be too 'touchy-feely', though others defended the Turning Point USA CEO.

"Take notice, haters. This is how Erika Kirk hugs," one person stated, while another summed up: "This right here is a Mrs. Erika Kirk hug, folks — the kind that reminds me of church mothers’ embrace, where you know she’s saying a quick silent prayer."

Erika recently sat down with Fox News' Jesse Watters where she addressed the scrutiny she has been under since the passing of her husband, as well as acknowledging the upcoming trial of Kirk's suspected killer Tyler Robinson.

She was asked her thoughts about the defence requesting that cameras not be permitted in the courtroom for Robinson's trial.

She said: “There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered. There have been cameras all over my friends and family mourning. There have been cameras all over me, analyzing my every move, analyzing every smile, my every tear, we deserve to have cameras in there.

“Why not be transparent? There is nothing to hide, I know there is not because I have seen what the case is built on.”
