Elon Musk has been throwing some massive blows Donald Trump’s way in the last few days but has done a U-turn following a Trump warning.
While Elon Musk has the unofficial title as the Donald Trump’s ‘First Buddy’, the pair have been at each other's throats in recent days.
For many, this seemingly came out of nowhere as the two were considered very close allies, while Musk worked with the Trump administration for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The duo’s fallout appears to stem from Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill, that Musk criticized very strongly on his Twitter page.
But while a slight disagreement is normal in politics now and again, things took a turn when Musk insisted the Epstein files haven’t been released because he’s named in them.
"Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files," he alleged. "That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!"
Musk added in a follow-up tweet: "Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out." He did not provide any evidence for these claims, however.

Jeffrey Epstein was awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges when he was found dead in his cell in August 2019 after he committed suicide.
While Trump has addressed the crossing of swords between him and Musk, he has appeared somewhat uncharacteristically reserved, however, he did issue a warning to the billionaire.
Asked specifically if he thought his relationship with the chief executive of Tesla and SpaceX was over, Trump responded: "I would assume so, yeah."

Trump continued: “I’m too busy doing other things.
“You know, I won an election in a landslide. I gave him [Musk] a lot of breaks, long before this happened, I gave him breaks in my first administration, and saved his life in my first administration, I have no intention of speaking to him."
He added that there would be ‘serious consequences’ for Musk if he helped fund future Democratic campaigns.

Trump added: "If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that," but did not explain what those consequences would be.
Most interestingly, Musk has deleted his tweets suggesting that Trump was in the Epstein files and removed other post calling for the impeachment of the President.
While the warning and timing of the deletion may be unrelated, some have seen it as a way for Musk to backtrack the severity of his comments against Trump.
