Elon Musk's name has appeared in the latest release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Jeffrey Epstein’s estate files suggest the disgraced financier maintained late-life ties with President Donald Trump's former advisor and Tesla CEO, Musk.
It should be noted that despite his name appearing in the files, it does not mean he is accused of any wrongdoing.
“It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” Oversight Democrats spokesperson Sara Guerrero said in a statement.

"Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”
The files, handed to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and published today (September 26) by Democrats on the panel, include what looks like a copy of Epstein’s travel itinerary.

In it, Musk was reportedly scheduled for a trip to Epstein’s private island on December 6, 2014. Next to the entry, a note simply read 'is this still happening?'.

At the time, Epstein still owned the infamous island in the US Virgin Islands.
The documents also show other high-profile names on Epstein’s calendar, including a planned lunch with tech mogul Peter Thiel - the co-founder of PayPal - on November 27, 2017, and a breakfast with former Trump strategist Steve Bannon on February 16, 2019 - just months before Epstein was arrested on charges of sex trafficking minors.
