Melania Trump has predicted what will happen under her husband Donald Trump's administration following his US presidential victory.

While all the polls suggested a tight race between Trump and Kamala Harris, it was the 45th president of the US who raced to victory.

Taking to the stage at his campaign's HQ in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said he had 'made history' after being projected to win the battleground states of North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

"Every single day I will be fighting for you, with every single breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that children deserve," he said.

As Trump declared he would 'make America great again', he thanked his wife, Melania, stating she has done a 'great job' and 'works very hard'.

The former first lady, who will be returning with Trump to the White House in January, has taken to social media to share her view on what her husband's administration will look like.

Melania wrote: "The majority of Americans have entrusted us with this important responsibility.

"We will safeguard the heart of our republic – freedom. I anticipate the citizens of our nation rejoining in commitment to each other and rising above ideology for the sake of individual liberty, economic prosperity, and security.

"American energy, skill, and initiative will bring together our best minds to propel our nation forward forevermore."

As Trump declared victory during a speech in Florida, a delighted Melanie stood by his side.

Speaking to Paddy Power Games, body language expert Judi James explained that Melania appeared 'powerful' and 'confident' as she took to the stage.

“During [Trump's] arrival on stage, he stepped out to pose, looking momentarily overwhelmed. While his right hand punched the air gently his face seemed puckered in a moment of inner emotion," James explained.

"It was Melania, in a businesslike grey power suit and the towering Barron who flanked Trump exhibiting the body language signals of strength and support."

As for Trump's body language, the expert added: "Trump’s gesticulation and touch rituals with her gave the impression that he seeks support and strength from her rather than the other way round.

"While Trump opted to not bare his teeth in a smile, Melania was beaming with rounded cheeks of pride and delight and baring both upper and lower teeth in her smiles."
