Donald Trump has raised some eyebrows when answering questions about his health following a trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Donald Trump confirmed that he had gone for an MRI scan last month, but in a new interview snapped at reporters who wanted more clarity about his health.

Trump insisted he was indifferent to his MRI results being released speaking to reporters on November 30, on Air Force One.

However, the POTUS also snapped at two reporters and insulted them in the brief exchange, weeks after he called a female journalist 'piggy' in another tirade.

Trump said: “I have been asked about my MRI...if they want to release [my MRI results] its OK with me, it’s perfect.

“It is like my phone call where I got impeached, it is absolutely perfect.”

Speaking directly to a female reporter from NewsNation, Trump continued: “If you want to hear about it, do you want to have it released, NewsNation? Failing NewsNation. NewsNation is doing lousy by the way.”

The reporter replied that the outlet was not failing. Trump then turned to another female reporter and hurled an insult at her.

The second reporter then asked what part of his body the MRI was specifically looking at.

Trump answered: “I have no idea. It was just an MRI. What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it, I got a perfect mark, which you would be incapable of doing. Goodbye everybody.”

Despite Trump’s claims, people have argued it would be odd to have an MRI for no particular reason and not to know what specific part of the body it was intending to look at.

On Reddit, users discussed this, with one person writing: “If it wasn't the brain, why doesn't he know what part of the body it was? It would be highly unusual for him not to have asked.”

Another wrote: “They don't just give you an MRI for no reason. People don't get routine MRIs for no reason. And it wasn't his regularly scheduled physical checkup. He went to Walter Reed for some reason, and he got an MRI for some reason.”

A third write: “People can get annual MRI exams if they are willing to throw down thousands of dollars out-of-pocket. I agree with you though, most doctors are not advising full body MRI exams unless there is something they are concerned about.”

And another added: “MRIs are ALWAYS done for a specific reason. ALWAYS. Doctors don't say 'Oh well, why don't we try an MRI and see what that does?'"
