Donald Trump swore during an explosive rant about Iran and Israel as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.

Despite claims that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was in effect, Donald Trump snapped at both nations on a brief interaction with the press today (24 June).

Speaking on the White House lawn this morning, the president remarked the two nations ‘don’t know what the f**k they’re doing’.

This comes after Trump took to social media to insists that the situation was de-escalating and that both nations had agreed to a ceasefire after a feud that saw both countries exchange missiles.

A reporter asked Trump what he thought about Iran allegedly violating the ceasefire agreement and whether they were still dedicated to finding peace.

Trump answered: “Yes, I do believe [Iran is still committed to peace]. They violated it but Israel violated it too."

He went on: “As soon as we made the deal Israel came out and dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I had never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen.

“I’m not happy with Israel, when I say you have 12 hours you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them.

“So I am not happy with them, I am not happy with Iran either but I am really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning.”

Reporters tried to ask the President more questions before he continued on with his rant.

He said: “We have basically have two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*** they are doing, do you understand that?”

Trump then proceeded to walk away from the reporters. Take a look at the moment below:

Despite Trump's firm rhetoric speaking to reporters, on social media hours earlier he had remarked that the conflict was coming to an end and that he had been integral in broaching a ceasefire.

In a Truth Social post, he wrote: "He added: "Israel & Iran came to me, almost simultaneously, and said, 'PEACE!' I knew the time was NOW. The World, and the Middle East, are the real WINNERS! Both Nations will see tremendous LOVE, PEACE, AND PROSPERITY in their futures.

"They have so much to gain, and yet, so much to lose if they stray from the road of RIGHTEOUSNESS & TRUTH. The future for Israel & Iran is UNLIMITED, & filled with great PROMISE. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!"

Only a few hours after these posts, Trump issued a warning to Israel, seemingly fearful that the country would retaliate for Iran reportedly breaking the ceasefire agreement.
