Donald Trump has sent out a bizarre email saying he is 'alone', and asking his supporters for money.

Trump's team frequently sends out emails to his followers reiterating the need for funds - particularly when he was on the campaign trail.

However, the US president's language in this fundraising email was particularly unusual, with the subject line saying he was 'alone and in the dark'.

It went on to launch into a tirade against what Trump called the 'radical left', which he implied was the Democrats when he said they would flip the House and the Senate.

He also employed language frequently used by X owner Elon Musk, referring to the 'woke mind virus' - a far-right term used to refer to their opponents.

Billionaire Trump urged the email's recipients to donate money to the MAGA movement, warning that it would 'crumble' if they didn't.

As per the Archive of Political Emails, on January 13, Trump wrote: “Some people are saying: This is SAD!

“I’m sitting here. Alone. In the war room. Fighting for you.

“The rest of the staff went home hours ago. It’s just me, one dying laptop, and the 72-hour countdown clock to my first mid-month deadline of the year just RANG.”

At this stage, Trump alluded to the upcoming midterms, which polls suggest will be bruising for the Republican party.

He wrote that the 'radical left', meaning the Democrats, would take the House and Senate from the Republicans, which, if that happens, will hamstring his ability to pass his more extreme bills.

Trump warned that this would apparently result in 'your kids brainwashed' and 'open borders forever', as well as confiscating guns.

On a personal note, he went on to say: “And worst of all your favorite President (ME!) might just go through another FAKE impeachment!”

Continuing the letter, Trump said that he 'need[s] a small sacrifice from every red-blooded American who wants to save the country!'

He added: “I’m dead serious: miss this goal and the MAGA Movement crumbles.”

Trump then urged people to donate $47 within 'the next 30 minutes', saying that if they do, they will get a 'limited-edition 2026 Trump Calendar', adding that it's 'nothing compared to losing the country'.

Meanwhile, a large blue button under the text read: “This is it. No second chances.”

The POTUS concluded that 'we have been fighting for years', but he is afraid that 'the end is near'.

“The woke mind virus is infiltrating more and more Americans every day. This could be our last chance!” the email said. “Do it for America, show them MAGA is strong!”

While it was signed by Trump, it's not clear if he actually wrote the email personally or if it was produced by his office.
